Is the North Face Nuptse worth it?
The Nuptse is one of the cheapest product we tested in this review. The lack of a hood and its relative heaviness make it a bit less desirable for backcountry use compared to the other parkas we tested. The Nutpse is, however, made from durable fabrics and provides 700 fill down for reasonable warmth in a classic look.

Some of the popularity is the pandemic effect. A jacket designed for braving the elements is infinitely more desirable when leisure time is limited to outside. It also fits into a yearning for comfort in a year of anxiety – wearing a coat that doubles up as a duvet is reassuring.
Is the Nuptse 700 warm?
Our testing shows it’s decently warm, but cut small around the hips which lets in air. Very thick fabric used in the Nuptse. The shell fabric is treated with DWR and works well. Solid zippered hand pockets (that are insulated), and an internal zippered stash pocket.

Overall, this Nuptse jacket is exactly what you’d expect; great quality, warm and comfortable. How do you wash a Nuptse jacket?
You should use a mild powder detergent and not a liquid, before washing in cold water on a gentle cycle. To ensure the detergent residue is completely washed out, we advise you to put your jacket through the rinse cycle twice before hanging to dry naturally.

How can you tell a fake North Face Nuptse?
The authentic has rounded corners, while the fake is straight with sharp corners. Apart from that, try to examine the text stamped on the metal part of the tag. It should be well visible, and, as you can see on the fake VS real Nuptse jacket comparison, the letters should also be a little wider.
How warm is a Nuptse?
