What is a damane?
A damane (Old Tongue: Leashed One) is a woman who can channel who has been leashed by the Seanchan, using a type of ter’angreal called an a’dam. Damane are Seanchan women (for only women can be collared, although a male collar was later described in the series) born with the spark or ability to channel.
What is a Sul dam?
Sul’dam (Old Tongue: Leash Holder) are Seanchan women who can control damane, women who can channel the One Power and are viewed as too dangerous to roam free in society. Sul’dam control damane through the use of an a’dam, a special ter’angreal that looks like a silver leash and bracelet.

Nynaeve is the strongest Aes Sedai. However, among the Light siders, Alivia is far stronger and Sharina will become stronger. I would say that Alivia > Cyndane, instead of both tied at level 20 (Lanfear at 21). Possibly Lanfear and Alivia are equal in OP strength.
