LG has been one of the most popular names in the world of consumer technology. The company has been coming out with update after update which has helped the users tap deeper into the markets, and has been exceptional off late. The company had many revelations to be made at the Consumer Electronics Show including a foldable screen and a fridge that wakes up on knocking it. The company at the Mobile World Congress has now released their gen-next flagship phone, the LG G5.
The LG G5 comes out with a 5.3 inched screen, and features 4GB of RAM with 32GB of built-in storage. The phone also comes out into the markets featuring two rear cameras, clicking photos at 16MP and 8MP respectively, the phone also features an 8MP front camera.
The LG G5 runs on the Snapdragon 820 SoC processor, supported by an Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. The LG G5 also features Type-C USB port.
The phone is a rather slim devices, as it carries all of these specs but yet comes out at less than 8mm thick. What is the most attractive about the phone however is its modules, as the LG G5 features modules which help convert the phone into a digital camera as well as a music player.
The LG Cam Plus module comes with buttons for releasing shutter, flash and zoom. It gives the phone a feel of using a professional digital camera. It also helps the phone get a boost in the battery as it comes with an additional 1200mAh of battery taking the total battery life of the phone to 3000mAh.
Another module that is available is the Hi Fi Plus module, which allows the users to convert the LG G5 into a music player featuring B&O audio technologies. The press release indicates that the LG Hi-Fi Plus with B&O PLAY also supports 32-bit 384KHz high-definition audio playback.
More modules are soon expected to arrive, helping make the LG G5 truly one of a kind.
