The answer is yes and no. Our saltwater habitats, The Grand Reef and the dolphin lagoons, are maintained at a constant temperature year round. The temperature is maintained around 76 f so in the summer the pools are chilled and in the winter the pools are heated.

Can you reschedule Discovery Cove?

If you need to reschedule your Discovery Cove visit, one complimentary date change is allowed, pending availability. Bookings made within 7 days of original reservation date will be booked at the original rate. Bookings made outside of that time will be subject to change based on seasonal rates for the new date chosen.

Can you bring food into Discovery Cove?

Discovery Cove will also provide guests with a sample of specially formulated sunscreen that is safe for use in the animal habitats. Since meals, snacks and beverages are provided with admission to Discovery Cove, no other food, beverages or coolers are permitted.
