Samsung has been a company which has been challenging the market standards with every passing day and has been coming out with devices better than ever before. The company has managed to come out with a large number of innovations in their technology, and their next big release is barely 10 days away, as Samsung gears up to release the Samsung Galaxy S7 on the 21st of February. The S7 has been one of the most awaited Samsung releases, and the company is gearing up for the big launch at the Mobile World Congress, changing the world of Android technology forever.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to release with a base model which features a 5.1 inched screen, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The company is also expected to come out with a larger, better screen which is likely to support an ‘always-on’ display, as has been patented by Samsung recently.
The device is expected to release in two other variants – the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and the S7 Edge+. The S7 Edge will come with a slightly larger screen and will feature an edged display, while the Edge+ is expected to be even larger and will be featuring dual edges. All the variants would release with two variants each – one featuring the Snapdragon 820 SoC, while the other featuring the Exynos 8890.
The device is expected to also release with a ‘pressure sensitive’ display, similar to that of the iPhone 6s’s 3D Touch feature. The phone is also expected to release with a live photos like feature. Samsung is expected to lock horns with the iPhones in this one, and is aiming at regaining the markets share that their flagships have slowly been losing out on.
Apple on the other hand, is eyeing Samsung’s every move quite closely, as 2016 might be the year Apple may end up becoming the market leader in terms of mobile phone sales beating Samsung.
