Samsung has been a name which has been making quite a noise around its latest products in the rumor mill. The company has been coming out with some of the hottest releases of recent times, and they are now working on the release of their latest flagship device – the Samsung Galaxy S7. The device has been surrounded by several reports and speculations, however, as less than 20 days remain to the release of the device, the situation is getting clearer with every passing day.
It is now clear that the device is going to be released on the 21st of February, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Barcelona. The company has been coming out with teasers which show a box which is partially opened and the light that comes from inside it shows a ‘7’ marked on the edges of the box.
This in itself is a clear indication that the Samsung Galaxy S7 is coming out at the event. Also expected at the event is an announcement related to the Samsung Virtual Reality technology.
As of the leaked specs via various sources, we can now safely assume that the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to come out with a 5.1 inched screen, along with a Snapdragon 820 processor and an Adreno 530 processor. In some regions, the device will not feature the snapdragon processor, but would instead come with an Exynos processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to feature a 64GB storage along with 4GB of RAM. The company is also expected to re-introduce an expandable storage with the help of MicroSD card. Waterproofing is also expected to make a return. Both these features were a part of the S5 from Samsung, but the company removed them from the S6.
The camera is expected to come out featuring 16MP in the back and 8MP in the front. More details will be updated as they follow through.
