ASUS ZenFone Zoom Launched – Know The Specs:

The world of technology has been shrinking at a very rapid speed. The functions of multiple devices are narrowing down into singular devices. However, while many devices have been integrated into the smartphones, one thing that still has a purpose of existence is a standalone camera. However, ASUS with their ZenFone Zoom intend to take that privilege away from the cameras as their new device has been hailed as one of the best camera-smartphones.

ASUS ZenFone Zoom has been billed as “world’s thinnest smartphone with 3X optical zoom”. The device comes in at a price tag of a hefty $560 as of now, and another variant which will feature the ZenFlash and a Manfrotto-branded portable tripod will soon be coming out into the markets at a price point of $595 – which is quite a sweet deal.

“Photography has become extremely important for today’s smartphone users,” Jerry Shen, CEO, Asus said in an emailed statement. “Consumers want to capture every precious moment of their lives on their smartphone cameras, and also be able to perform multiple tasks with the same device. With ZenFone Zoom, we are introducing an unbeatable smartphone that complements today’s lifestyles and puts professional photography within the reach of everyone.”

The ASUS ZenFone Zoom comes out into the markets with a 13MP pixel-master camera, featuring OIS upto 4 stops!  The device comes with ASUS’s laser based auto-focus technology. It features a dual LED Real Tone flash. The front camera is like every other front camera, and comes in at 5Megapixels.

Other than the camera features, the phone provides the users with a 5.5 inched screen. This device runs on a 64-bit Z3590 Intel Super Quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz and features 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It comes out with a massive 128GB of storage built in. An additional 128GB can be added with a MicroSD Card.

The device will go on sale starting early February. It’s not like there have been other devices which offer similar services in the past, however, they looked like it was a camera with a sim-card, such as the S4 Zoom.
